The Tres Marias Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It has been played since 2005 at Tres Marias Residential Golf Club in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.
From 2005 through 2009 the title sponsor of the tournament was Corona, a top-selling Mexican beer. Lorena Ochoa has won the event three times: 2006, 2008, and 2009.
The 2011 tournament was originally scheduled for April 21-24. On February 2, 2011 the LPGA announced that the tournament had been canceled because of concerns about violence in the Mexican state of Michoacan.[1]
